  Heart Disease and diet  
 
 Person should maintain ideal body weight by taking proper diet & regular exercise

He should have 5 or more serving of vegetables & fruits as they contain lot of fiber,

minerals & vitamins good for healthy heart diet.

Daily diet should include whole grain which provide fiber, vitamins, mineral & complex

carbohydrate.

Daily products & milk should be there in diet as they are rich source of protein,

calcium & vitamins.

Use skim milk, low fat yogurt & low fat buttermilk instead of full fat .

Eat white meat like chicken, fish in spite of red meat like mutton, beef, pork etc.

Do not use more than 3 to 4 egg yolks per week, including eggs used in cooking as

they may increase cholesterol level.

Avoid oils and fats. They are high in fat and calories, and people should eat less of all

types of fat.

Use liquid vegetable oils such as sunflower, soybean, corn, sesame, olive, canola oil.

Avoid butter,  sour cream, whipping cream,  palm kernel oil as These contain saturated fats .

Avoid to have soft drinks or candy as they have lots of sugars.

Avoid  or limit to have alcoholic beverages as it can be associated factor to promote
