Acidity

Natrum Phos

Excess acidity, Creamy white coating at back of tongue.

Sour eructation and taste. Sour vomiting. Flatulence, with sour

risings.  

Nux Vomica

Nausea in the morning with sour taste in the mouth.

Flatulence with bitter eructation.

Stomach is very sensitive.

Sensation of Weight and pain in stomach; worse, after some

time of eating..

Indigestion

Arsenicum album

 Dyspepsia from vinegar, acids, ice-cream, ice-water, tobacco.

Burning pain in stomach. Craves acids and coffee and vomiting

due to food poisoning or  because of consumption of spoiled food.

Calcarea Carb.

Frequent sour eructation; sour vomiting.

Ravenous hunger, with desire for indigestible things.

Heartburn; Milk disagrees.

Swelling of epigastrium.

Tight clothes increase discomfort.

Abdomen hard and distended. Stools hard, white and offensive.

Ipecac

 Persistent nausea and vomiting due to indigestion, with intolerable

 pain in abdomen worse around navel.

Podophyllum

 Full of gas in abdomen, distended Can lie comfortably on abdomen

 only.

 Better by rubbing the part. Loose stool, offensive,

 Profuse painless.

Pulsatilla

Indigestion after rich spicy and fatty food. Taste of food remains

 a long time. Thirstlessness.

Nux vom

Sour taste and nausea in the morning, after eating and pain the

 stomach after eating. Nausea and vomiting with much eructation

 of gas. Gastric problems due to alcohol, irregular meal and

 sedentary habits.

Diarrhea

Aloe

 Stool passes without effort, almost unnoticed. Lumpy, watery stool.

Jelly-like stools, with soreness in rectum after stool. A lot

 of mucus, with pain in rectum after stool. Unable to control ,has

 to rush to pass stool, which gushes like water from a hydrant.

 Cutting, cramping pains around navel, worse eating or drinking.

Arsenic

Small, offensive, dark, with much prostration. Worse at night,

 and after eating and drinking; from chilling stomach, alcoholic

 abuse, spoiled meat. Diarrhea immediately on eating.  

Podophyllum

Stools very offensive, watery, pasty; yellow, or undigested

matter; chalky offensive stools; stool forcibly expelled. Painless

diarrhea. diarrhea from drinking impure water.

Argentum Nitricum

Diarrhea from eating sweets. Nervous diarrhea from anticipation.

 Stools green like chopped spinach, with great distension of

abdomen; flatulence. Liquids seem to pass straight through.

Nux Vomica

Diarrhea from over indulging in sedentary lifestyle

Persons after rich food, drinking.

Frequent desire for stool, but little passes at a time,

Straining and discomfort.

Diarrhea in infants from artificial food;

vomiting and purging without actual inflammation.

Constipation

Beneficial for constipation with stools that are large, dry, and hard.

Constipation without any urge.
 

Nux vomica

Constipation alternates with diarrhea. Corrects frequent, ineffective

urging to stool. Sensation of something left behind. It is also helpful

to  relieve the laxative habit

Lycopodium

Constipation with offensive gas .symptoms worse from 4 p.m. to

8p.m.

Colic

Lycopodium helps with bloated abdomen. For baby's colic or adult

indigestion. Colic on right side of abdomen worse from 4 p.m. to8.pm.

Nux Vomoica

It helps to relive colic of abdomen which come after some hour of

eating  because of rich heavy food.

Pulsatilla

Painful stomach about an hour after eating. Weight like a stone in

stomach. Must loosen clothing. Averse to fat food, warm food and

drink.
 

Chamomila

Helpful for colic with gripping gas pains, flatulence, distended

abdomen, better with legs drawn up. More useful in baby with low

pain tolerance baby that pulls his legs up and screams.
 

Cold

Aconite

Discharge from nose with chill and irritation in throat. In acute

 cold as a first line of treatment. Attack of cold in Winter.

Allium cepa

Thin watery irritating discharge from nose with sneezing. Feels

 better in open air.

Bryonia

 Colds with watery nasal discharge with stuffy nose. Head colds

 with chest congestion.
 

Dulcamara

Dry feeling with complete stoppage of nose or profuse yellow

 discharge from nose after exposure to cold damp weather.

Hepar Sulph

Painful swelling of nose; soreness of nostrils; sneezes on going

 into cold dry air, with running from nose that later turns into

 thick, offensive discharge. Nose stopped up when goes out into

 cold air.

Kali bich

Thick yellow / greenish sticky discharge from nose.

Natrum Mur

 Violent sneezing. Fluent running nose which may change into

 stuffiness after 2-3 days. Discharge thin and watery like raw

 white of egg.

Pulsatilla

Pulsatilla is helpful for colds with thick, yellow, nasal discharge Nose

runs in open air and stuffy indoors and at night.

Sabadilla

Spasmodic sneezing with running nose, severe pain in front of

head. Redness of eyes & watering; excessive chill and no thirst.

Cough

Aconite

Dry, hoarse, irritative suffocating cough; cough during sleep.

Antim tart

Pain in throat with feeling of full of phlegm in chest with little

 expectoration and burning in chest.

Belladonna

 Coughing due to constriction in throat associated with difficult

 swallowing. Beneficial for short, dry, tickling cough. Worse at night.

Better when sitting up.

Dulcamara

Cough during change of seasons, when days hot & night cold. Cough

after physical exertion.

Hepar sulph

Colds, sore throats, and croup from exposure to the cold. Croupy

cough. It helps with painful and hoarse dry cough worsened by cold

weather. Feels like something caught in throat

Kali bich

Pain in throat with cough worse in warm room, burning and itching

sensation in chest.

Rumex

Coughing due to constant irritation in throat with much thin

expectoration aggravated by cold air, talking & night time

Spongia

Dry, barking cough with loss of voice. Cough abates after eating or

drinking. Cough worse from sweets or cold drinks or smoking

Fever

Aconite

Early stage. Fever from chill from sudden fall in temperature, or from

exposure to cold, dry air. High fever; thirst for large quantities of cold

water. Marked chilliness; restlessness.

Belladonna

Helpful for extreme high fever that comes on suddenly, then breaks

just as suddenly. Skin is dry, burning hot; feels hot to the touch.

Feet are icy cold. No thirst with fever. Red face, Hot, dry skin. Cold

hands and feet Throbbing carotids; headache.

Bryonia

 Fever from exposure to cold after overheated, mouth dry with great

thirst. Taking rest relieves headache and body ache.

Gelsemium

Face flushed, dark. Headache from nape of neck up. No thirst. Wants

to be left alone. Chills up and down back.

Rhus tox

Fever due to exposure to rain. Body ache. Restlessness

Headache

Belladonna

Throbbing, bursting headache, Worse in forehead, temples and right

side, sensitivity to light, motion, noise.  Headaches from sun

exposure. Also useful in sinus headache

Bryonia

Headache on stooping as though brain would burst through forehead;

worse from motion  more worse in evening.

Natrum Mur

Headache with rise of sun, stopping at sunset.

Headache of school going children headache from straining the eyes.

Hammering headache.

Nux Vomica

 Headache over eyes with vertigo. Frontal headache better by

pressing. Headache in the sunshine.

Gelsemium

Dull, heavy pains in head, especially at vertex, with

throbbing in temples, heavy eyes and giddiness

better after urination.

Injury

Arnica

 Injury due to fall, blows, and blunt in nature. As a first line of treatment

Calendula

 For lacerated wounds, cuts, etc

Rhus tox

 Muscular injury due to over stretching, lifting any heavy objects.

Ledum Pal

 Punctured wounds.

Hypericum

 Injuries to areas rich in nerves.

Burns

Cantharis

 For severe burns with blisters. Useful internally as well as externally.

Urtica Urens

For less severe burns without blistering on sensitive and irritated skin.

Calendula

For superficial burns and scalds. Promotes healthy

granulation and rapid healing.

        Hemorrhage

Arnica

 Bleeding from injury or trauma. Bleeding after tooth extraction.

Hamamelis

 Dark blood, passive flow; bleeding from nose, lungs, bowels,

hemorrhoids, bladder, when venous bleeding.

Phosphorus

Nose bleeds, bleeding gums, heavy menstrual flow. Taken before

surgery to decrease bleeding
 

Earache

Useful for external ear painful, swollen, red, and hot. Sensitive to

noise. Frantic with pain
 

Earache after sudden weather change

Belladonna

Ear red and burning in ear. Useful for ear pain that is throbbing,

beating. Earache in right ear.

Pulsatilla

Helpful for ears that feel stopped with severe throbbing pain, worse

at night. External ear swollen & red. Thick, yellow, bland discharge
 

Toothache

Belladonna

Throbbing pain in teeth. Grinds teeth. Useful for toothache that is

throbbing, especially right-sided.
 

Chamomilla

Helpful for teething when cold relieves pain. Teething with diarrhea.

One cheek red and hot, the other pale and cool. Patient screams

even with less pain
 

Plantago

Emergency remedy for toothache, gum abscess.

Lessen problems of sensitive teeth, lessen pain from a toothache with

pain going into ears or eyes.
